Canton of Basel Christmas markets

The cantons of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Country are two small cantons in the north of Switzerland, bordering France and Germany. The territory of the two cantons is crossed by the Jura massif and the rivers Ergolz and Birse (Birs), while the Rhine marks the border with Germany. The official language of the two cantons is German. The Basel Christmas Markets are the most beautiful in the canton.

Here is a selection of the most beautiful Christmas markets in the region.
