This region of the country is bounded to the north by the Celtic Sea to the east it borders with Somerset and Dorset, to the south overlooking the English Channel and to the west bounded by the county of Cornwall, which is the most western end of the peninsula where it also places the Devon. Bovey Tracey’s celebration of Christmas returns once again for another fabulous event held in the centre of this lovely town on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. The Street Fayre is on Saturday 2nd December and runs from 3pm to 6pm with the lights switch on at 4pm. The event is held along the length of Fore Street and includes around 40 craft and gift stalls, food vendors, face painters, a visit by Father Christmas and a Santa’s Grotto, plus fairground kiddie rides, a drive past by the Wolf Pack Armed Forces Charity Bikers (all leather and tinsel – a sight to behold!), mulled wine and carol singing. We have pony rides, Street drums, a giant inflatable snow globe bouncy ‘castle’ for both adults and children, and refreshments provided by The Cocktail Kings. There is plenty of parking in the town or the Bovey Tracey information centre can advise you of local B&Bs and hotels in the area if you’d like to prolong your visit, so you can relax and Enjoy shopping for Christmas gifts at this wonderful festive event.

Exeter Christmas Market on Cathedral Green at the heart of the city centre. The Exeter Christmas Market will represent the best of what Britain, the South West and the rest of Europe has to offer – with a mix of great food, excellent crafts, unique gifts and decorations. There will be more than 50 traders this year with a good mix of local and international traders.
