Cornwall is one English county located in the southwest of Britain, at the end of the homonymous, long, wide peninsula, which extends towards the Atlantic. From the geographical point of view the Peninsula in Cornwall is much larger than the county of the same name, which is in fact only its westernmost end, while the entire peninsula also includes the entire county of Devon and a good part of Somerset. The county of Cornwall is one of the six Celtic nations. The local language, reported today in use, albeit marginally, by some fans, is related to the Welsh and even more with the Breton. The administrative center and the only city is Truro, while the historical capital is Bodmin. The county also includes the Isles of Scilly, located 45 kilometers from the coast. Tourism is an important part of the local economy. For the British people Christmas it is one of the most important holidays of the year. The Christmas markets are a rather recent tradition imported from Germany. Here is a list of the most popular Christmas markets in Cornwall.
