Birmingham Christmas Markets

Birmingham is a major town of Central England located almost halfway between London and Liverpool. Inhabited since Roman times, Birmingham was developed in the Middle Ages as a market town, then thanks to the iron ore and coal mines became an important industrial center. The city is mostly modern and most of its buildings dating back to the eighteenth and twentieth centuries.

The Christmas Market in Birmingham (Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market & Craft Fair) is an important event in the English Christmas, here you will find the classic market that reflects the tradition of the Christmas Markets in Germany and the handicraft exhibition of Christmas. 1) Christmas Market in Birmingham (Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market).  Birmingham Christmas Market it is one of the most popular Christmas markets of England, it takes place between Victoria Square and New Street, where you will find – thanks to the partnership with the German city of Frankfurt – the atmosphere of the Christmas Markets of Germany with many  typical Germans product. There are so many handmade items for sale from all over the world, you can buy Christmas decorations, jewelry, products of German cuisine such as grilled sausages, sweets, gingerbread, mulled wine (Gluhwein) and the famous German beer.

2) Christmas Craft Fair (Birmingham Christmas Craft Fair). The fair of local artisans, takes place between Chamberlain Square and Centenary Square, there are lots of handmade products sold, including wood carvings, bags, toys, musical instruments, clothes. Visitors will also find handmade products from around the world.
