Schwerin Christmas Market

Beautiful historic city, former capital of the Duchy of Mecklenburg and today capital of the land of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Schwerin is surrounded by seven picturesque lakes, which during Christmas contribute to making the atmosphere of this city even more fairytale-like. The best-known building in the city is the former residence of the dukes, now the seat of the land parliament, the Schwerin Castle (Schweriner Schloss), located on an islet in the center of the lake of the same name, echoing in the forms the Castles of the Loire Valley, to visit its sumptuous interiors.
