The Hertfordshire is a county of eastern England. The territory is mainly drained by the river Lea (also called Lee) that flows into the Thames after crossing Hertford, the county seat, and Cheshunt. The county being situated at the northern edge of Greater London is densely populated. In the west there are the large urban centers of Hemel Hempstead, Watford and St Albans. The most important city of the north of the county is Stevenage. For the British people Christmas it is one of the most important holidays of the year.
